Goyt Valley Striders

Club Championship

The Club Championship consists of 24 races, typically two each month, on a variety of distances (classified as Short, Medium and Long) and terrains (Road, Trail, Fell). To qualify, you must run at least one race of each distance and terrain, and your best eight results count towards your total. If you run any six races, you can receive a much sought-after GVS Championship T-shirt.

As well as the overall club champion, trophies are awarded to the best female and male runners, and in a variety of age categories.

Many of the Main Championship races also form part of the Summer Fell Series, or the Winter Road Series.
